The Virtual University Sialkot campuses concluded Orientation Classes and Computer Lab Sessions for Spring 2023 Admissions. Over 300 prospective students attended the Orientation sessions held in three sessions from 11th to 14th of April, 2023 from 10 am to 2 pm.
The primary aim of the orientation was;
· Familiarizing the new students with the Virtual University's online education system,
· To provide an overview of University life, academic rules & regulations and
· To equip them with the tools necessary to become successful online learners.
The students were introduced to VULMS with live demonstrations, VU001-Introduction to e-Learning course, VU CPL (Computer proficiency license), and various communication tools such as Zoom, Google Meet, Skype, Team Viewer, and Adobe Connect.
The CEO of Virtual University Sialkot Campus congratulated students on making the right decision to choose Virtual University, which is the future of online education. Students were also introduced to MOOCs, Edx & Coursera, IOT, A.I, Hyper-realistic 3D Out-of-Home Animation, Holoportation, and live demonstration of ChatGPT.
The CEO emphasized that our youth needs to unleash their potential by learning these technologies and briefed the students to embrace the attitude of LEARN, UNLEARN & RELEARN to stay ahead in 21st century as per teaching of Alvin Toffler. He made the students realize that countries and businesses that do not adopt new technologies shall be wiped out.
